Red Hawk Coaching: Embrace the New Dawn: Find Forgiveness and Fresh Opportunities with Every Sunset

The Williams household is bustling as we approach the end of the school year. One child is advancing to sophomore year in high school, while my daughter prepares for college this fall. Amid the graduation activities, I took a short break and visited Rockport, Texas. Reflecting on everything from a four-story deck overlooking rooftops, I captured a photo of a sunset over the water after a storm. It reminded me that every sunset brings the promise of a new sunrise.

Lesson from a Sunset:

The sun may set today, but with every sunset comes the promise of a new sunrise just a few hours away. A new day awaits, bringing fresh opportunities and new challenges—a chance to start anew.

It's remarkable how often we dwell on the past, myself included, fixating on things we cannot change. Why do we worry so much about what’s already done?

Seek forgiveness where you’ve faltered. Reach out to those you may have wronged, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and strive to make amends. Extend grace to yourself, remembering that we are all human and prone to mistakes. Embrace the new day that lies ahead.
